1. Problem Situation

1. 문제 상황

The following problems occurred in the Thermal Evaporator located inside the glove box:

글러브 박스 내부의 Thermal Evaporator에 다음과 같은 문제가 발생했습니다.

The leak rate was only 8.0×10^−5 Torr.
누설량(Leak Rate)이 8.0×10^−5 Torr 밖에 되지 않습니다.
The lifespan of the gauge was shortened due to internal dust.
내부 먼지(Dust)로 인해 게이지 수명이 단축됩니다.
Frequent hunting phenomenon occurred in the boat.
보트(Boat)의 hunting 현상이 빈번하게 발생합니다.

2. Disassembly and Inspection

First, the system was disassembled to check the dust condition on the inner surface, and the Thermal Evaporator was disassembled.

먼저 시스템을 분해하여 내부 표면의 먼지 상태를 확인하고 Thermal Evaporator를 분해했습니다.

Parts of the Thermal Evaporator were machined and reassembled for surface polishing.

표면 polishing을 위해 Thermal Evaporator의 부품을 가공하고 재조립했습니다.

4. How to Operate the Thermal Evaporator

4. Thermal Evaporator 작동법

Main On: Turn on the main power.
Main On: 메인 전원을 켭니다.
R.P On: Turn on the power of the Rotary Pump.
R.P On: Rotary Pump의 전원을 켭니다.
F.V On: Turn on the Foreline Valve for about 5 minutes to evacuate the chamber up to where the Main Valve is closed.
F.V On: Foreline Valve를 5분 정도 켜서 Main Valve가 닫힌 곳까지 진공을 뽑습니다.
F.V Off: Turn off the Foreline Valve.
F.V Off: Foreline Valve를 끕니다.
R.V On: Turn on the Roughing Valve and wait until the vacuum level reaches 5.0×10^−3 Torr within 10 minutes. (Low vacuum state)
R.V On: Roughing Valve를 켜고 10분 이내에 5.0×10^−3 Torr까지 진공을 뽑습니다. (저진공 상태)
R.V Off: Turn off the Roughing Valve when the vacuum level reaches
R.V Off: 5.0×10−3 Torr에 도달하면 Roughing Valve를 끕니다.
F.V On: Turn on the Foreline Valve.
F.V On: Foreline Valve를 켭니다.
T.M.P On: Turn on the Turbo Molecular Pump and check the temperature (below 30℃) and frequency (935KHz).
T.M.P On: Turbo Molecular Pump를 켜고 온도(30℃ 이하)와 주파수(935KHz)를 확인합니다.
M.V On: If the vacuum level is 5.0×10−3 Torr, turn on the Main Valve.
M.V On: 진공 상태가 5.0×10−3 Torr이면 Main Valve를 켭니다.
ION Gauge On: If the vacuum level is above 5.0×10−4 Torr, turn on the Ion Gauge.
ION Gauge On: 진공 상태가 5.0×10−4 Torr 이상이면 Ion Gauge를 켭니다.
M.V Off: Turn off the Main Valve when stopping the T.M.P after the work is completed.
M.V Off: 작업 종료 후 T.M.P를 멈출 때 Main Valve를 끕니다.
ION Gauge Off: Turn off the Ion Gauge before stopping the T.M.P.
ION Gauge Off: T.M.P를 멈추기 전에 Ion Gauge를 끕니다.
T.M.P Stop: Stop the T.M.P and wait for 30 minutes. (Keep the F.V on)
T.M.P Stop: T.M.P를 멈추고 30분 동안 대기합니다. (F.V는 On 상태 유지)
F.V Off: Turn off the Foreline Valve.
F.V Off: Foreline Valve를 끕니다.
